A twinkling connection
The distance, to blame
Lust and disdain
Now and again

My mind so chaotic
Decision, in a muddle
Lustful passion
Deep, in denial

Dismaying actions
Injured your ambiance
An unhinged affair
A black storm; so dense

Fingernails dig into skin;
Pain doesn’t bruise me
Plum red skin;
Sight doesn’t blind me

Some days, a fleeting detest
Every night, my only guest

Temporary departure
Temporary arrival
Temporary hope
Remembrances, eternal

An irreplaceable dwelling
Perhaps will never together be
But arrive whatever may
Ageless constellation; I promise
