I flew first
thousands of feet o'er
in a space,
utterly dark.
Time flew next.
With a yellow stretch
mingling bashfully,
with emptiness.
A turmoil of colors,
spewed all around,
at the crack of dawn.
The other side, still in slumber.
I descended in my seat;
breathed the colors in, deep.
smiled at the harmonious black;
beamed at the impeccable auburn.
There was,
on my left, the moon
on my right, the sun
And at the intersection, was I.
thousands of feet o'er
in a space,
utterly dark.
With a yellow stretch
mingling bashfully,
with emptiness.
A turmoil of colors,
spewed all around,
at the crack of dawn.
The other side, still in slumber.
breathed the colors in, deep.
smiled at the harmonious black;
beamed at the impeccable auburn.
There was,
on my left, the moon
on my right, the sun
And at the intersection, was I.
